Abstract

Xiggs bozoni Xiggs maydoni kvanti bo’lib, zarralar bu maydondan
o’tganda qarshilikka uchraydi, ya’ni ularning massasi o’zgaradi. Aniqrog’i, Xiggs bozoni
elementar zarralarni massa bilan ta’minlaydi. Ya’ni buni, elementar zarralarni “qovushqoq”
maydonda og’irlashib qolganday tasavvur qilish mumkin. Bu modelga binoan bizning
olamimiz shu bozonlarga to’la va ularni elementar zarralar bilan ta’sirlashuvi natijasida
massaga ega bo’ladilar deb tasavvur qilinadi. Shuning uchun ham ushbu zarrani tabiatda
mavjudligini isbotlash nazariy fizika uchun juda dolzarb masala edi. Xiggs bozonining
topilishi fan va elementar zarralar fizikasi uchun juda katta progress hisoblanadi. Birinchi
navbatda zarralar va olamni qanday tuzilganligi to’g’risidagi bilimlarimiz yanada
mukammallashadi.
