SUFI APPROACHES TO COMBATING RELIGIOUS EXTREMISM IN THE ERA OF GLOBALIZATION

This thesis examines the factors contributing to the spread of religious extremism in the context of globalization and explores the spiritual and educational potential of Sufism in countering this phenomenon. It highlights the importance of knowledge, enlightenment, self-purification, humanism, tolerance, and moral development in shaping young people's worldviews. Drawing on Uzbekistan's experience in studying and promoting its Sufi heritage, the thesis emphasizes the role of spiritual and educational approaches in preventing religious extremism. It also proposes ways to promote Sufi values through modern digital platforms.
