METHODOLOGICAL FOUNDATIONS OF USING ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE TOOLS IN PROGRAMMING EDUCATION
Keywords:
programming education, artificial intelligence, large language models, code generation, algorithmic thinking, digital competence, modern education.Abstract
The article analyzes the penetration of artificial intelligence (AI) tools into programming education, their didactic opportunities and risks. A four-component methodological model is proposed for using AI tools while preserving students' independent programming skills and algorithmic thinking: staged use of AI, developing AI-collaboration competence, renewing the assessment system, and project-based learning. The model can be applied in teaching programming and computer science at higher education institutions.
