Abstract

The article examines the ancient Fergana state of Davan, which
developed in the pearl of Central Asia - the Fergana Valley from the 2nd century. BC, until
the 3rd century. AD The author, based on historical and archaeological data, analyzes the
mechanism of the state, the economic basis for the development of the ancient state of Davan,
its social spectrum, governing bodies, sources of law, as well as cultural development. Based
on this, the author concludes that Davan is of significant scientific value when studying the
evolution of the national statehood of Uzbekistan.
