В статье рассматривается становление дипломатической службы в
Англии и Франции в Средние века, а также постепенный процесс, который отражал
меняющиеся политические и экономические реалии той эпохи. В нем подчеркивается
переход обеих стран от неформальных, разовых дипломатических миссий к созданию
более формализованных и структурированных систем дипломатии.
