This scientific article analyzes the strategic aspects of national security
through the history of January 14 – Defender of the Fatherland Day and the activities of the
modern Armed Forces of Uzbekistan. The historical roots of the Defender of the Fatherland
holiday and its social significance are considered. Additionally, modern methods of
educating young people in the spirit of patriotism, the modernization processes of the
Armed Forces, and the role of military service in the education of the younger generation
are covered based on a scientific approach. The historical roots of Defender of the
Fatherland Day, the current state of the Armed Forces, educational efforts in preparing
young people for military service, and their role in society are analyzed.
