The State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan is one of the most important national symbols, representing the country’s independence, sovereignty, and national identity. It was adopted on November 18, 1991. The flag consists of horizontal blue, white, and green stripes separated by two thin red lines. A white crescent moon and twelve white stars are depicted in the upper blue section.
The blue color symbolizes the sky and pure water, white represents peace and purity, and green signifies nature and renewal. The red stripes symbolize vital energy and life. The crescent moon represents the historical traditions and national values of the Uzbek people, while the twelve stars symbolize perfection and ancient traditions. The State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan is highly cherished as a symbol of national pride, loyalty to the homeland, and respect for the country.
