IMPROVING MONITORING IN HIGHER EDUCATION BASED ON THE LMS “ATTENDANCE” AND “ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE” MODULES

This thesis examines the real-time monitoring of student activities through the attendance and assessment (midterm and final examination) modules of a Learning Management System (LMS). The shortcomings of paper-based registers and scattered Excel files are highlighted, and the advantages of a unified digital environment are substantiated. The prospects for integration with HEMIS are briefly discussed.
