Abstract

Today, liver cirrhosis (LC) remains one of the most severe challenges in the field of hepatology. This disease manifests not only through the destruction of the liver parenchyma but also via profound pathology of the systemic and regional hemodynamics. Investigating intrahepatic vascular remodeling, the development of portal hypertension, hyperdynamic circulation, and endothelial dysfunction enables early diagnosis of complications and the optimization of treatment strategies.
