Abstract

This study explores the clinical and pathogenetic overlap between asthma, atopic dermatitis (AD), and allergic rhinitis (AR) within the framework of the "Atopic March." It focuses on shared genetic defects (such as filaggrin mutations) and systemic Th2-inflammation. The results advocate for a unified "one airway, one disease" approach and integrated management of comorbid allergic conditions to improve long-term asthma outcomes.
