Inflammation Biomarkers in Pediatric Bronchial Asthma
Abstract
This work evaluates the clinical significance of various biomarkers in monitoring airway inflammation in children. It covers invasive and non-invasive markers, including peripheral blood eosinophils, serum IgE, and fractional exhaled nitric oxide (FeNO). The study emphasizes the role of these biomarkers in phenotyping asthma and predicting exacerbations, allowing for more precise adjustments in anti-inflammatory therapy.
