Qandli diabet (QD) asrning yetakchi tibbiy muammolaridan biri bo'lib, uning ko'p qirrali prognoz ko'rsatkichlari kasallanish va o'lim ko'rsatkichlarining o'sishiga bevosita mas'ul bo'lgan haqiqiy yurak-qon tomir xavf omilini tashkil etadi [1].
Diabetik oyoq sindromi (DOS) — qandli diabet bilan bog'liq asorat bo'lib, u tibbiy va ijtimoiy-iqtisodiy nuqtai nazardan kuchli salbiy ta'sir ko'rsatadi. Ushbu bemorlarda yurak-qon tomir xavfining ortishi yo'ldosh neyropatiya va periferik arteriya kasalliklari kumulyativ ta'sirining natijasidir [2,3]. Patofiziolojik mexanizmlar xilma-xil bo'lib, oyoq deformatsiyalari, oyoqlarga tushuvchi g'ayritabiiy bosim, bo'g'imlar harakatchanligining cheklanishi, tashqi travma, periferik arteriya kasalligi yoki shishlar kabi ko'plab omillarni o'z ichiga oladi [4].
