Mazkur maqolada Asteraceae oilasiga mansub Silphium perfoliatum L. turining biologik, agrotexnik, biotexnologik va ekologik xususiyatlari keng tahlil qilinadi. O‘simlikning biomassa hosildorligi, genetik xilma-xilligi, metan ishlab chiqarish salohiyati, urug‘ unuvchanligi, in vitro sharoitda ko‘paytirish imkoniyatlari hamda ekologik tizimlarga ta’siri o‘rganilgan. Tadqiqot natijalari ushbu turdan barqaror bioenergetika, dori-darmon xom ashyosi, tuproqni muhofaza qilish va o‘simliklar xilma-xilligini saqlashda foydalanish istiqbollarini ko‘rsatadi.
