Abstract

This paper explores the ethics and aesthetics of speech, focusing on the
key criteria that define the responsibility of a speaker. The study delves into the moral and
aesthetic principles that guide a speaker‟s conduct, emphasizing the importance of
integrity, respect for the audience, and the role of eloquence in public speaking. The paper
analyzes how a speaker‟s choices in language, tone, and delivery impact not only the
effectiveness of the message but also the ethical implications of influencing the audience.
By examining various examples of speeches, the paper seeks to establish the foundational
criteria for responsible and ethical oratory in modern communication.
