This article discusses the expression of respect in Korean using lexical
units, types of lexical units, and examples of them are given. Since Korean is one of the
Eastern countries, respectful address is an issue in this language, which is indicated in the
legal documents of the language. For this, knowledge of the clothes related to the category
of respect is considered important for Korean language learners and translators. The
