This article addresses the development of Uzbekistan's museums as socio
cultural institutions in the modern world. It examines the role of museums in preserving
national culture and history, conducting scientific research, and contributing to education
and upbringing processes. The article analyzes the current state of museum activities in
Uzbekistan, identifies challenges, and explores opportunities for development through the
use of innovative technologies. Recommendations are provided for modernizing museums
in line with global practices and enhancing their importance in the socio-cultural domain.
